Burden charging and distribution equipment for blast furnace top systems.
Discuss your requirementsTHE APPLICATION
A bell-less top brings together burden storage, gas sealing, pressure equalization and controlled distribution. Chute rotation and tilt work with material flow control to place the burden where the process requires it.
Material gates control burden movement. Sealing valves establish the gas boundary. These functions are coordinated with pressure equalization and the charging sequence.

TECHNOLOGY & SCOPE
Each package needs to fit the process, site conditions and operating requirements.
Coordinated rotation and inclination place the burden across the furnace top. The drive arrangement is selected for the specified system.
The material flow valve adjusts discharge to work with chute movement and the charging programme.
Ring, spiral, sector and point charging can be organised through the selected motion and control arrangement.
Wear protection, lubrication, cooling, sealing and chute replacement access are considered in the layout.
DEFINE THE DUTY
Share the operating conditions and project interfaces so the equipment scope can be discussed clearly.

The functions are different. A material gate controls solids, while the sealing valve forms part of the gas-tight boundary. Their sequence and interlocks must be coordinated.
Normal operation and short-duration upset conditions must be defined separately, including the affected components, duration and cooling conditions.
